I've been on a slight Beatles kick lately. I'm thinking "Here Comes Sunshine" might be the GD song with the greatest affinity to Len-Mac. The guitar figure kind of sounds like "An Your Bird" slowed down to me, and the chorus strikes as Beatles-like, both lyrics and music.

Anyone else?

Seriously- Here Comes Sunshine...
Why was there a hiatus for that some??? A '77 version would've been sooo sweet; especially sandwiched between Estimated and Eyes. An opener. A 2nd set opener. It would've been huge! Why Why Why????

And the title "Here Comes Sunshine" recalls both "Here Comes The Sun" and "Good Day Sunshine"...but your question is a tough one. I could totally imagine Ringo singing "Pride Of Cucamonga," and "Golden Road" has a sort of "Taxman" stomp to it, but the GD are almost intentionally trying to NOT sound like the Beatles... especially on their Beatle covers, lol. :)

I actually find this thread quite immature and foolish. The Grateful Dead and their scene were the mentors for the Beatles post 1965.

So wouldn't the question be "Most Deadaqued Beatles song ?"

So were The Byrds a bunch of Dylanized-Batles, or a bunch of Beatleized-Dylans?

Far from me,

lyrics and melody always put me in mind of the beatles, especially the middle section
